A couple of weeks ago miceuz took part in the light art installation Apus Apus by Justė Brukštutė / Jonas Liugaila / Rūta Ivaškevičiūtė. Apus Apus is the fastest bird that lives in Lithuania - the top speed it can reach is 111km/h.

Installation consists of 30+ acrylic tubes that represent different frames of animation of the bird flying. The animation runs so that an illusion of the bird flying away at 111km/h is created

More technical data is available on the github page.

Video does no good for the piece, come to Beepositive light installation festival this October to see it live.
